Vincent Van Gogh… only made one sale. Just the one. And he was considered the greatest Dutch painter after Rembrandt.
It just proves that talent alone isn’t enough to ensure success.
That beyond having a great product, you need a solid strategy and strong execution.
And that got me thinking lots of times when I talk to people they’ll tell me how they’ve been struggling to make sales in their business.
I usually ask what offers they’re promoting, what methods they’re using to drive traffic — that kind of stuff.
They’ll tell me how they’ve been using the same traffic method because that’s what they know best.
So I’ll ask, what are you going to do differently tomorrow to get a better result than the one you had today? They don’t know.
Now, I’m not saying this to pick on anyone. Getting your business to where you want it to be can be very challenging sometimes.
That’s why events are so important. Because that’s where you’ll meet other affiliates just like you. People who get where you’re coming from because they’ve been there themselves. Or they’re working through the same problems you are right now.
Oh what was the painting , the blog picture should have been your first hint.. it is “The Red Vineyard” or “The Red Vines” (1888), and it sold at Brussels in early 1890 for 400 Belgian francs.
